Inflow Inc., a leading provider of managed web application hosting and outsourced IT services, announced a revenue surge in first quarter by its Pittsburgh Internet Data Center (IDC).

Recurring and Total Revenue Up 20% Over Previous Quarter, 40% Over Previous Year
Inflow-Pittsburgh’s total revenue in first quarter was $521,100, up 20.5% from fourth quarter 2002 and 38% over first quarter 2002. Inflow-Pittsburgh general manager Patrick Bixel attributes the revenue growth to larger customer contracts and operational stability and expertise.

“In Pittsburgh, we are doing a great job of educating the local community about Inflow’s expertise and value proposition,” said Bixel. “Our customers are also spreading the word to their colleagues about our high quality of service and their overall satisfaction with our solutions.”

Larger New Customers
Inflow served 37 total customers at the end of first quarter, up 23.3% over the same period last year. New customers include Development Dimensions International, Fast Forward, and C.S. McKee. “We are realizing our goal of increased customer recognition and response,” said Bixel. “The customers coming in the door are larger and have more need for a cross-section of services.”

“Inflow was the only game in town worth looking at, and ironically, after reviewing other national providers not located in Pittsburgh, Inflow ended up being our first choice,” said Manu Brahmam, manager of MIS for Development Dimensions International. “Inflow remains phenomenal. Inflow-Pittsburgh Facts
Inflow’s Pittsburgh IDC was opened in June of 2000. The facility has experienced zero downtime since opening. The IDC has on-site technical staff members that currently support customers 24 x 7, including Steel City Telecom, Leeds Business Accessories, and The Grant Street Group.
