Roanoke Technology Corp (BULLETIN BOARD: RNKE) , has completed development and testing of an additional software module for its RTCHosting E-Commerce system that manages drop shippers and integrates with the United States Postal Service Web Tools API for shipping and tracking of packages.
"Many of our customers that use our E-Commerce web application for their online storefront deal with a number of drop shippers that actually fulfill the orders," said Ryan A. Brown, Chief Technology Officer for RTC. "Our new system allows each drop shipper to log into the site, manage the line items in each order that they are responsible for producing and delivering, and print United States Postal Service Delivery Confirmation shipping labels directly from their web browser."
The integration with the United States Postal Service system allows users to print Priority or Parcel Post labels directly from their web browser and the Delivery Confirmation tracking numbers are automatically sent out to the package recipient and recorded in the system for tracking.
