Advantage Capital Partners announces that it has provided financing to Long Island, New York-based Invision.com, Inc., a managed service provider (MSP) that provides Web application development and managed network services to the Long Island and New York Metro market. The company will use the financing to further build its infrastructure, for working capital and to acquire other service providers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In business since 1995, Invision has experienced strong growth, growing 1821% from 1996-2001. Invision has been named the second fastest growing Long Island company by Deloitte & Touche for two years in a row and ranked 97 on the Inc. 500 list.
"Invision's seasoned management team has successfully grown their business in spite of the tech and telecom bust and Invision is now well-positioned to continue its strong record of success as a reliable provider of application and network services," said Brad Parish of Advantage Capital, a New York CAPCO. "Providing services and access for its clients' mission-critical applications, email and networks, it has built a reputation as a stable player in an unstable environment."
"This financing will fast-track our ability to invest in our infrastructure, and information systems to help us scale for growth. We are also actively looking to make acquisitions of broadband assets from which we can further leverage our assets and reputation," said Tyler Roye, CEO of Invision. "The confidence Advantage Capital places in our management team and our growth potential validates what we believe to be a strong business model."
