THE HOST GROUP INC. announced today that it has acquired Baltimore, Maryland based AutomatedWebHosting.com. AutomatedWebHosting.com is known for its affordable fiber optic web hosting services. The deal was completed on January 8, 2003. THG will take over all aspects of AutomatedWebHosting.com on this date.

Current customers of AutomatedWebHosting.com will need to submit sales, support and billing requests directly to thehostgroup.com.

AutomatedWebHosting.com is a privately held Maryland based web hosting company. They have been in operation since 2001.
