Trace hostingplans.com failed, no such host

Umm, so yeah. If I were you I'd probably look for a new hosting company. Sorry to hear about it by the way. It always saddens me to see people get shafting by 'so called' hosts.

Let me know if I can help you.

Best Regards,

Mr. Pezzone,

Just remember that if they are not providing service per their terms of service you can cancel your account. Meaning you can ask your credit card provider for a chargeback as they did not provide the service as requested.

Good luck.

If you too have been having problems with Hosting Plans, come to the website I made to help us get a refund from HP.

On April 14, I requested a refund from HostingPlans.com. Still haven't heard from them or seen any money. What action should I take?

Mr.Pezzone and sabrough,

I checked their web site, http://hostingplans.com. They've now posted email addresses to contact for refunds or to have your sites & email restored. But, they have apparently folded. Good luck dealing with them.

I guess I was just raised differently. I can't understand why they wouldn't sent an email to their customers explaining the situation, giving all of the most up-to-date status, and doing whatever they can to help their customers.

Sorry Scott,

Its not looking good. At this point your only options of the legal variety. But both of us, and I'm sure hostingplans, are aware of the costs involved in litigation.

In my view you've got two options:

1. Continue building http://www.digitalrice.com/playmafia/hostingplans.html with a view to a class action law suit.

2. Depending on the amounts involved, right the whole amount off as a bad deal!

Thanks to those who gave me advice. I am pleased to say that Hosting Plans gave me a full $200 refund. The address I emailed was andre@bajanz.com, although I think Andre Skeete gets the mail from refunds@hostingplans.com as well. Andre does deserve a compliment for being cooperative in this because I have been a customer for over a year (despite several problems and on-and-off service). Unfortunately, I do still know of some customers who have not heard from him yet or received a refund. I'm going to continue helping until they're satisfied, so if you could use my help, email me, or click the link above.
