Acceloop, Inc. today announced that it will offer free two-month license of its Web Server Accelerator to help corporations and agencies cope with snail mail problems caused by the bioterrorism threat. Acceloop Web Server Accelerator allows organizations to bypass snail mail delivery of CDs and printed materials in favor of electronic content delivery.
"People are warned to be vigilant about handling mail and many are afraid to open envelopes. Organizations are facing problems sending CDs, brochures and other ‘heavy content’ stuff,” said Yoram Nissenboim, Acceloop’s Chairman and CEO “We have decided to help corporations and agencies to use a web-based alternative for this ‘heavy content’ snail mail.”
Acceloop Web Server Accelerator is a software product that accelerates high-volume content transfer rate up to 700% (using concurrent sessions) over the Internet and Intranets, and guarantees completion of content delivery. Using Acceloop Web Server Accelerator, companies and government agencies will be able to allow people to download heavy files or to enter multimedia-enriched web pages - very quickly. Thus, materials that are normally sent by snail mail, can be delivered easily over the web.
"Email, the popular alternative to snail mail, has attachment size limitations,” said Nissenboim. “There is an urgent need these days for an electronic heavy content delivery technology, and Acceloop’s technology addresses these needs.”
In addition to content delivery acceleration, Acceloop Web Server Accelerator provides notification of transfer completion after verifying data integrity, and auto recovery of incomplete sessions.
