Asia's leading Internet service provider, Pacific Internet Limited PCNTF today announced the appointment of Mr. Eddy Kuk as the Managing Director for its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary Pacific Supernet Limited, the second largest revenue contributor to the group after Singapore.

Pacific Supernet, a pioneer ISP in Hong Kong, is strongly positioned as a business-focused provider of Internet solutions targeting small to medium size enterprises and corporate organizations. The company accounts for 20% of Pacific Internet's total group revenue, while corporate revenue contribution stands at 25% to the group.

The company was the first ISP to launch corporate broadband services in Hong Kong in February 2000 and has grown into one of the leading corporate broadband providers in the country. Pacific Supernet currently offers broadband services such as Network Broadband and Bizbro@dband tailor made to suit various needs of its corporate customers to address the exploding demand for high-speed connectivity in Hong Kong.

Eddy is a graduate from the University of Lethbridge with a major in Finance. He has devoted his entire career to the field of IT and joined Pacific Supernet in August 1997. In addition, Eddy has made significant contributions in his earlier tenure as Director, Sales and Marketing of Pacific Supernet, where he helped the company to achieve substantial revenue growth and also led the impetus to launch its Network Broadband and Bizbro@dband services.
