On Tuesday, June 19, several hundred business and civic leaders will gather to celebrate the opening of SunGard eSourcing's new managed hosting center. This 100,000 square-foot addition to the SunGard MegaCenter in Philadelphia is designed to set a new standard for the information availability so critical to today's e-business applications. Housed in SunGard's hardened, secure facility, the new managed hosting center will provide hosting infrastructure services, transport infrastructure, and
high bandwidth networking services for companies throughout the country. SunGard eSourcing is part of SunGard Business Continuity and Internet Services (BCIS), an operating group of SunGard (NYSE: SDS). Mike Ruettgers, executive chairman of EMC Corporation, will kick off the opening, entitled Leading the Way, with a keynote presentation on the importance of protecting critical business information. Donna Scott, vice president and research director at the Gartner Group will then moderate a panel discussion with the following government and industry notables:
