Interland, Inc., a global leader in Web-enabling solutions, today announced the launch of its new Online Customer Management System (OCMS), a comprehensive Web hosting management console designed for the Company’s strategic distribution channel partners who are looking to broaden their services portfolio to include business-class Web hosting for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Web-based interface provides partners with the means to deliver a complete set of private label or co-branded managed Web hosting services to their customers by outsourcing all, or portions of, the technical and operational requirements to Interland.

Developed internally by the Interland’s Information Technology Development Group, the OCMS simplifies the customer service essentials of managed Web hosting solutions including online sales order placement, billing and technical support functions, auto-provisioning and DNS process management. In addition, the OCMS provides product information and sales tips and can generate sales activity reports on demand. It also gives both partner account managers and their customers self- access to an online trouble ticketing system, Web hosting FAQs, a hosting services knowledge base and account feature setup request forms. The OCMS is uniquely designed so that partners can choose which areas of the solution sets to manage internally and which pieces to outsource to Interland.

“As the market shows greater adoption of Web sites, it also demonstrates greater expectations from SMEs looking for business-class hosting services backed by technical superiority, performance and reliability,” said Nick Farsi, senior vice president, chief information officer, Interland, Inc. “Our new Online Customer Management System enables our partners who are interested in leveraging our technical capabilities and resources, to offer these services to their customers.”

“Interland’s strategic partners rely on our proven track record for meeting and exceeding the complex needs of the SME customer,” Farsi said. “They are now able to quickly and cost-effectively enter and expand into the Web hosting market with relative ease, and are capitalizing on the increased revenue opportunities.”

Based on feedback from resellers and strategic partners like Verizon, Interland developed the OCMS on a modular foundation as a secure, scalable, data-driven Web application that can be rapidly deployed. Each component handles a specific function allowing for a plug and play environment, making it easy to integrate Interland’s system into the partner’s existing infrastructure and systems capabilities. The four OCMS modules, sales, support, reporting and portal administration, are password protected and allow partners to enter orders and provisioning requests directly into Interland’s security-enhanced database systems through an easy-to-use wizard.

“Interland continues to broaden its sales distribution channels that leverage the Company’s capacity to deliver outsourced Web solutions to small- and medium-sized enterprises,” said Mark Alexander, senior vice president, sales, marketing and business development, Interland, Inc. “Interland’s proven scalability, proprietary customer service and support technologies uniquely position us as a strategic hosting partner of choice for businesses who are looking to deliver a full range of Web-enabling solutions to their large customer base.”

OCMS offers additional user-friendly functions including:

· User options (personal ID and password maintenance)

· Administration (maintain all IDs and passwords)

· Ability to update prices

· Order Manager (order entry tool for associates)

· Online Support Center

· User Reference (product info. & price sheets)

· Reports Center

· Content Center (maintain news and messages targeting specific user levels)

“Interland will continue to develop specialized technologies and systems that give us an advantage in delivering quality and price competitive services to our partners and customers,” Farsi added.
