I currently host some forums myself, but am looking at getting a hosting company to host it. I use invision software (php & mysql). I get a fair amount of hits and I expect it to grow.
I use Analog to check the stats and it shows:

Quote:
(Figures in parentheses refer to the 7-day period ending 11-Apr-2004 18:00).
Successful requests: 8,620,034 (778,483)
Data transferred: 12.783 gigabytes (1.519 gigabytes)
Average data transferred per day: 185.703 megabytes (222.239 megabytes)

So can I just take that average data transferred per day and multiply it by 30 to get the monthly bandwidth? Or is there some other number I need to add to it?
Thanks
Neal

It's better to use the average for more than one month but from what I see you will need at 10GB of bandwidth to start with

yeah... 3 months data is usually good. you may also see some trends. Foreseeing increases can save you money now.
