On my new server, I opened up CPanel to setup a FTP account so that 1 person could have full access to one of my sub directories so that he could upload, download, delete, etc. He handles one small segment of my website content and he only has FTP access to that dir. Example: /home/abc/public_html/his_dir

Then, obviously, visitors can visit a link that leads to html within that dir.

OK, here lies the problem. He can log in via his client, change dir's, download, but that's it. He can't upload, create dirs, etc.

I've always used CPanel to do this in the past with no problems. Now that we have moved to a new server, I can't seem to determine what the problem is. I've tried this myself logging in as him and get the same results.

Any recommendations?
