Hope that I can find help here. (My wife will kill me if I don't)

I am running the following on a WinXp pro machine.

Ok, I have Apache, PHP and MySql with SSL up and running with 3 Vhost under my belt. A, Cname and MX records, all configured the hard way, but they work!

My question is this:

Does anyone know of a Cpanel that will run under this enviroment, or know how to tweek a Unix based Cpanel to work under windows?

Well cPanel is the tradename of a control panel for hosting. You can visit their site and see what their status is for the version of cPanel for Windows. Last I checked they were about 75% complete. If this is still the case then I don't think tweaking is going to help--you would need major programming in order to get it to run.

Try searching for windows control panels.

Here are some to look at:

ensim
hspere
helm
command matrix
akashik
HELM is getting quite a bit of good press lately so it might be worth checking out (no experience with it myself)

I agree with akashik, HELM is an easy to use Windows solution. It does not have all the bells and whistles that cPanel does but our clients find it good for their needs.

Good luck with your control panel search. The one bit of information that I would add, from listening to our Tech support guru's, is to be very cautious loading a control panel in an existing environment, they usually like clean installs as a baseline to start from!

I think you should try Hosting Controller :

It is Windows based CP and better suit your needs.

I believe Plesk from SW Soft are developing a windows one but I'm not sure how far they got with it. You could also try Ensim.
In my view HELM controlpanel is more than good enough try that you may experience a good one.

Yes, HELM is also a good alternate
Helm is not a good alternate.....

its only a far better choice than anything else.....
