I've tried to cancel my accounts with Poplogic for over a week. There is no response to my ticket or emails. You need to use one form to cancel (I did), they won't take phone calls or anything else to cancel. How long should it take to cancel an account? They've been ignoring me all week. I tried the phone number and it states "this number is unavaible and try later"

Since I didn't get a response out of billing, I tried the techs (I know they couldn't do anything but I figured they could at least answer questions about the process. They reassigned my ticket and put it at "low priority". Granted, it could be because they don't have the information.

Is there anything I can do? Or am I up the creek without a paddle? If anyone has had experience with this let me know.

Send a letter certified mail return receipt requested. After that dispute that you owe them anything. If you paid by credit card notify your credit card company of the date you first cancelled service and request a chargeback.

While I don't usually suggest this, you should think about speaking with your bank to prevent further charges if you don't hear from them. You'd be suprised how quickly service providers will suddenly listen to you the moment they see a chargeback appear.

I presume you're paying by creditcard?

Well, after some phone calls I found that Poplogic had been sold to another company and thats why they weren't anwnsering any of their customer service stuff. I have had some correspondence with the president of the new company and she seems nice. I hope to hear from her today on the status of my accounts. I'm hoping that I will be cancelled after today. Supposedly, why the form didn't work is that it was automated and there was a glitch in the system. I don't know, I was just glad to get a hold of a real person

Excellent. I suppose it would have been nice of the 'old' business to inform you guys before they sold everything. It's good everything seems to be working out.

Hi All, my name is Chris and I purchased PopLogic in October 2006. My apoligies for any problems experienced in the past.

I've remade the site, www.poplogic.com and removed many of the extra paperwork policies the original owner had inplace.

Just wanted to say hi and clear up some of the questions about PopLogic.

Thanks,
Chris Chong
