I need advice on what type of webhosting company is good for hosting games. MY game is basically an ASP based game and the hosting company needs to have this ASP component called ASPUPLOAD (using Persits Upload).

Anyone can recommend some good hosting companies for me?

Try fluidhosting.com as they run windows servers.

I believe they have ASPUPLOAD.

I checked them... their prices is a little bit expensive for me...

I'm looking at something less than USD 8 a month...

You have to understand when looking for a windows host you can't expect to have the same level of prices.

For a windows box the license cost is outragous.

Its about $2,800 for Just MS SQL.
Then you have to addon the original Windows 2000 or 2003 License.

If you are looking for a windows host, it will be very costly. =)

Sigh... I've seen windows hosting for less than 8 per month.. but I'm not sure if they have ASPUPLOAD component on them...

Oh well.. guess i have to fork out a little bit more.. sigh

$8/month for Windows hosting, hopefully you are not expecting lots of space and bandwidth otherwise you may need to adjust your budget.

You may even get ASPUPLOAD components for $4 but the space will be only 25 MB and 1 GB transfer only......

Since i had seen lot of windows 25 MB plan for this price with the above mentioned features.....!!!!!

For your budget $8 in my view you may get the following specfications

50 or 100 MB space

3000 or 4000 MB Band Width......

unlimited email accounts

unlimited subdomains

unlimited FTP accounts...

With ASPUPLOAD component.....

and all other general features of windows hosting.....

the above mentioned are tentative one and in my experience by visiting lot of hosting companies..........
