Hi
Need a bit of advice. I have about 14 differant websites that are currently hosetd with various differant companies, I want to bring them all together. Has occured to me that I could do it under a reseller programme or is there a simpler idea? Want them all to have their own sites & not be subdomains. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
You are better off getting a reseller package, this way you can manage all your sites under one large account.

Definately a reseller or multiple domain hosting package is for you. Try a search on google for these and you will find lots of offers.
What a reseller or multiple domain hosting package allows you to do is manage a series of domains from one interface/account. If you get a host with a graphical interface like cPanel you would have one control panel to manage your accounts and each individual account will also have a control panel to manage its site as well.

Reseller Plan is Better For You. Get Reseller Plan .also you can save money.

There are two types of reseller accounts.
1) Where you pay an extra amount for every domain you add
2) Private Name Multi Domain Hosting - Where you pay the price for a single plan to host as many domains as you wish. In this case, there may be a plan limit . i.e You can host as many domains as you want, provided you stay within the total resource usages of the plan.
Personally, I think the latter option is easier on the pockets as there are no additional charges involved for every domain added.
Feel free to post any questions you may have in this regards.

such a shame, guys!
provenjohn, don't get a reseller account. get a dedicated server. if you look, you can find one with like 1000 GB monthly traffic for no more than $100/mo.
and i'm not saying this just because i'm the only one here who is not offering a reseller account! lol

Well there are pros and cons with everything and in the end it will be what best fits the posters needs.
I always suggest reselling as a means of getting your feet wet in the business. Hosting may not be the profession you want to stay in and if you are only obligated with a reseller account then of course its wise not too move into dedicated.
On the other hand, there are all types dedicated servers, managed or un-managed so you have plenty of options.
Resellers now have quite a few options too.
Multiple domains - Certain # of domains per account for one price or adding resold domains at a discounted price.
