What is the meaning of "Reverse IP: Web server hosts XX websites" ? Is http://www.whois.sc/anyhost.com is realy a tool to see how many sites are located on a server ?

Actually its pretty inaccurate.
, I was actually interested and tried it out myself but the results were kinda disappointing. The number of sites we host on the server were a bit off.

It's a tool to find number of site on the server........
and i don't understand where it's going to give wrong statement...
it's basic work of the tool and that's also a easy process .........
then how it will show the wrong statement....

Hi, I am new to posting here. This one I could not resist.
I went and tried the tool listed. Sorry but no way it is accurate. I really am not sure how it can be unless the host is using only one ip to host all domains maybe on the server. I tried it on several servers. Ones that I knew exactly how many sites are hosted on.
Example: on a server I checked twice to confirm hosts 82 domains. The result showed no sites hosted there. Of course they do all have their own ip.
Did I use the tool wrong? I did try several times with other servers using the ip of the server.
Cool concept and I do hope I was not using it correctly.

It's well off. I ran our name through it and got this:
"Reverse IP: Web server hosts 4 websites"
That just means the .net/org/biz/info extensions of our name. The server it's looking at has closer to 200 accounts, and is only one of our servers.
I wouldn't put too much faith in it.

I think its the number of sites per IP address and not per server. I also believe it works by scanning the whois database and archiving the data. So if you only have 4 sites pointing to one ip address then it will report 4 hosted sites. The stat will probably also include sites pointing to that ip address even if they don't have hosting on that server.
Anyhow its better than nothing.
