Here's the deal...

I know absolutely nothing about unix, apache, or any of the software based on such systems. I also know absolutely zero about php, perl, or cgi.

That said....

I am an ASP programmer and know vbScrip inside and out. I have a major ASP application currently running on IIS with a SQL Server backend.

I need to support an image stream of .jpg images. A LOT of .jpg images.

I need to find a host that will provide me with a minimum 1000 GB traffic, preferably more at a reasonable price, translated.... as close as possible to the 9000 GB/mo offered by FDC for $800/mo.

Problem is.... I need windows based hosting. Yea, I don't know unix.... keep the flames to yourself please. Regardless, I'm looking for a host that will provide windows hosting and EXTREMELY high bandwidth at a reasonable price. I've tried TriServers.com, but the reliabillity is (explitive Explitive, EXPLITIVE!!!!!!!!).

The absolute key of what I need to acomplish is this:

I need a single page... be it html, pl, asp, whatever.... who cares.... but I need that page, when loaded.... to retrieve a list of files in a directory, and embed in the page the most recent file. These files (.jpg images) will be written every 1/2 second. I need to know the most recent image as stamped by the file system. I can do this accessing the FileSystemObject in ASP. I know ChiliSoft supports this... but I have no idea how to load it if I purchase one of FDC's servers, and would rather not spend $400 on a copy. I know there must be SOME way to accomplish this using php or cgi.... but I need this solution in under a week... no time to learn an entire new operating system.

I'm at the end of my rope here and I was really hoping for some constructive feedback. Thank you!!!
Tommy
Thats quite a lot of monthly data transfer you have going on there. If you have a machine you could investigate the costs of co-locating it with a well connected datacenter and seeing what sort of prices they will give you per GB.
