I know its possible. If you have a look at
http://www.innerhost.com/clustered.asp you can see that it is definatly possible on a local network. I'm not too sure if it is possible to have a local server and a remote one. Why don't you get yourself a dedicated server? Its virtually the same as having one in your office. You can use it via PCAnywhere. The only drawback to having a dedicated over a server sitting in your office is the fact that you are relient on the hosting company to reboot the machine for you. The advantages are a lot better.
