All right. I have a few questions about webpages, and I'm hoping that someone can help. I build a site and upload it, and working with different free hosts has gone ok. But lately I have purchased a domain name and domainname forwarding to avoid those monthly costs. I have decided that I am tired of banners and am going to purchase monthly hosting.

My question, is does anyone know a good hosting provider? Geocities, 0catch, and even Tripod (my current favorite) seems to bring up images much much slower than most pages that I visit online. I am looking to speed up the loading time for my page, caffeinezine.net

My second question is regarding Macromedia Flash player. I see these great animations that all use the program. How would I get started learning to do that? I just want to have a basic understanding so I can edit animations if I would like. Any tutorial or site advice? The ones I have tried were boring and did not provide enough information.

Hello. Regarding the hosting, there are many hosts who frequent this forum. Have a look in the "Web Hosting Offers" section. You should find one to suit your needs and budget.

As for Flash, I use www.flashkit.com which is good. You should be able to download sample movies, sound loops...etc

First, go to www.macromedia.com and download a trial copy of Flash, run through the tutorials. Or you can take a workshop on Flash animations.

One thing to remember about editing animations-they are copyrighted.
