I run a company that, among many other things, sells enterprise message board solutions that are similar to Infopop's OpenTopic. It allows the creation of multiple (thousands) of message boards on one server off of one or more domains, all independent of eachother and completely customizable via a Web-based admin control panel. It takes about 60 seconds to add a new message board; code is in ASP with MS SQL 2K backend.
I'm looking for a replacement for my current dedicated server, because I'm having a few connectivity problems with it that my provider can't seem to resolve. I need a Win2K server, at least 800 MHz, 256 (pref. 512) RAM, 40+ GB HD, and about 10 GB of bandwidth monthly. I'm looking for either free or sharply discounted pricing in exchange for licencing/setup of a message board server for the use of the provider with our scripts. This will give the provider the ability to offer message boards to their clients. A similar licence from a company like Infopop would likely cost thousands/month. For a message board, you could easily charge customers several dollars extra per month, an additional one-time setup fee (or both), or just use it as a promotion to get more clients ("free message board with hosting plan", etc.).
