Hi.

I wonder your opinions about .info domains for hosting.

I registered hostinfo.info about a couple weeks age and then designed a website for this domain for hosting:
www.hostinfo.info

Server spec etc are quite good but i still think about the domain name whether i choose the correct extension or not...

Thanks

Unlike some of the replies you've had on another forum, I don't see any problem with your domain name.

However I named mine after a large flightless bird, so take my advice with a grain of salt...

I think .info names are great alternatives to the over-crowded .com space. The more new extensions and the more companies using them, the more receptive Internet uses will be to using them. Plus, some of them have better focus and restrictions.
.biz is for businesses only so you don't get everyone and thier brother registering names. .info might be used by some companies with existing .com sites to be an information portal site or product site. Some organizations that use 3 letter acronyms find .info to be perfect, like mta.info .

I'm also excited by .US which is just coming out.

The more extensions the better.
