mmmm methinks either their servers are kept @ the same location or, one of them is stealing the other ones info!

sorry to post again in such a short time but, both the companys are located in Texas so their servers are probably in the same building!

I feel pretty stupid. (or paranoid) Of course they do use the same data center. I did get an email back very quickly from one of them. I was impressed with that. Especially on a Saturday.

lol... they ain't in the same datacenter! ones at rackshack (www.rackshack.net) ... who a lot would agree with me when i say are generally crap due to serious downtimes and data loss... and the other is at rackspace.com ... who most would agree with me when i say the service is excellent but they're expensive... (www.bluedomino.com at rackspace.com)...

Just have to add that RackSpace are the best data center, period.

Expensive, yes, but it's worth the money and you can really offer 99.999% uptime. That's 100% minus the downtime needed for backing up data, and no one would complain about that.

Support? My God, those guys are just insane! If you're a host there, you can pass on all that to your clients. We wouldn't leave them for anything.

hmm... too bad they're an arm n a leg n then some... heh... (damn prices... err)... i still maintain the best colo is Ardent Communications, if RackSpace = best dedicated... :P

I don't feel so stupid anymore. Just checked the AlwaysWebHosting link again and the data center information has changed from what they had Saturday morning. Think that one is going in the recycle bin.
