Hey, I am really into webpage building, programming, and computers, and would like to get into webpage hosting. Now in this I have a couple of questions about some webstuff.
First, I would like to ask, "Where in the world is a good place to get T1, T3, OC3, ect. ? " I mean I hear about good sites but when I look all I see are sites trying to charge you up the ars hold. I mean prices are so expencive. So, if you could give me some place that I could go then that would be nice.
Second, I would like to know, "Where can I buy a cheap server so I can host people on the web, or either get a dedicated webserver." I mean all I have seen is 99$/monthly or so at the cheapest and I see that that's really good but I still dont have that kind of money.
Third, could someone give me some references of where I could go to host my games like an online game? I mean I have exe programs and would like to host them on the web as a online game. Is there a way to do that? Just askin, and if so where?
If you can answers, one, two, all, or even if you have no clue just some support; Anything would be helpful.
Thank you,
David

David,
There's no 1 answer. Most people who sell on the net have at least 2 lines of business. Even 3 or 4 is not unusual.
As for price, you often get what you pay for. If someone is selling a service for $25 that most others are charging $100 then you have to ask yourself why.
While everyone wants a bargin and when in business a dollar here and there adds up, if you're going to base your business on the web you do not want to skimp on the services that run it!

heh... interesting that selling b/w came out #1 on that poll... lol
i mean... i go around and look at what these hosts are BUYING bandwidth for... how the hell do they expect to make a profit???? they're buying like 3 levels down from the connection owner/etc... like a reseller of a reseller of a host... lol.... and others.. due to the high rates, they are screwed if a end-client decides to be a jackass and not pay and leave...
