Moniker has announced that their premium domain name auctions have generated $9.7 million this month. It has been reported that over 570 domains have been sold.

The live auction, held at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Fla. on October 12, generated more than $7.7 million. Top purchases included:

  • Table.com $260,000
  • CrosswordPuzzles.com $210,000
  • CriminalLawyers.com $195,000
  • Promotion.com $170,000

Moniker's live auction marked the first time individuals participated from around the globe via telephone bidding. Individuals from the Middle East, Asia, Australia and Europe purchased some of the top-grossing domains at the auction. Moniker.com also broadcasted the entire auction live through WebmasterRadio.fm and via streaming Webcast. Thousands viewed and listened to the auction live online.

Online auction marks new milestone with more than $1.9 million in sales

In one of Moniker's most successful online auctions to date, T.R.A.F.F.I.C. attendees and proxy bidders continued to bid on premium domains after T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East came to an end. Bidding concluded on October 18 with more than $1.9 million in domains sold. Top purchases included:
