We are currently taking bids on the sale of our well-established hosting businesses.

Both have been around for more than a decade and are well known for a high level of customer support and a low turnover of client base.

Our annual hosting income is approximately $50,000, our annual domain registration and renewal income is around $7,000 and our annual website design, graphic design, website maintenance, site remodel and scripting income is around $50,000.

We are currently taking bids from serious buyers only and will only take bids over $200,000.

Please forward any questions or requests for information to john@a-nett.com

Thank you.

Agree with you here. It's not the right place for it.

the average sale price for a hosting company is 12-15 months revenue, I suggest you take that into account when trying to sell your company as I doubt very much that you will get 4 x your yearly income.

you may also want to search for a business broker to sell your business for you, these people not only have contacts of people looking to purchase but also have the skills and experience you need to get the best price possible.

good luck

I agree. You need to use a broker so you can have come security, as well as your buyer.

what is ur website..and how many customers do you have? If I was going to purchase your company I would like to know the reason why you are selling it.

so much BS - check out the website used as the email contact (a-nett.com)

if that's the co. for sale, all I can say is you've gotta be kidding me
pickaweb
I agree.
Using a broker would be the best option for you.

OK few points.

I think you are pitching in the wrong place as about the only regular poster here who I think has that kind of capital behind them is "pickaweb" also I doubt anyone would be prepared (read: stupid enough) to reach a private deal with anyone on a message board over that kind of money, a broker would be essential.

Also I agree with Chilihost the average sale price for a hosting company is 12-15 months revenue, you are asking way too much. Also I'm not sure I'd want to buy a web hosting company who's .cgi ordering pages don't seem to work, or have any faith in a $200,000 valuation of one that can't seem to get the sale part of their on-line store working.

PS: Sorry to single you out pickaweb but you are the only brand I recognise from outside this forum, and I'm not too familiar with the US brands.
