i m using yahoo domain but hosting from other company. when i point my domain to my hosting company i m unable to send mail with my own domain. when i change the name server to default which mean yahoo NS. with this i can send mail with my own domain but when i browse my domain it will not point to my server.

may i know how to make my domain point to my server and i can send my mail with my own domain?

izzit MX setting problem?

Verify MX and CName. both.
Why not to move to another registrar where you will get FREE domain locking, FREE registrant modification, hassle-free domain transfer (if required in future) and FREE domain management control panel with FREE customer account

Whose your hosting company and are you sure that you have mail functionality with your hosting account?

Also are you getting any errors when you try and send/receive email once you have amended your DNS entries?

When you changed the DNS to your new hosting provider, you are sending and retrieving mail from your hosting mail provider not yahoo anymore.

If your hosting has Cpanel, log in and go to mail manager to create your email account. Then, you can use POP3 mail server or webmail to access your mail.

Other control panel should have the same method on how to manage your email accounts.

Just my two cents
