I have a business idea that would primarily depend on revenue generated from Advertizements .I was looking around the net to see if could get a fair idea on what would it cost (revenue for me) for someone to advertize on a site.

I was following the http://www.alexa.com/ for rankings and was wondering what would be the cost of advertizements based on individual on rankings ....

Questions :

1.Is there a source from which I can get the general rates ....

2. Is there a source(books links etc) which talks of such a bussiness model

its easy to setup and profit immediately. it will keep growing and earning.

start with CPC programs like adsense and clicksor ....
plus you can try text-link-ads.com and adbrite.com to find out what people are offering for a link .. this will give you a very fair idea ...
