If you'd get ripped by a hosting service i advice you to
put your credit card info with setupsite. They will not put your site up and will first allege your credit card was refused.Ok.After that they will debit from your credit as well and after you change you CREDIT CARD NUMBER they will
incredible still debit it,isn't that amazing? My best regards to SETUPSITE .
James
Have you reported this to the host, or your credit card provider? Its likely that your card provider insures you against this type of fraud.

Yes,they replied the first email but nothing later, just ignoring my first email. The credit card provider suggested
to change the number but the new card still comes with the debit of setupsite. For now the unique solution is close my credit card and inform about this incident.

I've had a look around a few more of the bulletin boards and can't find any other reports of fraud, so with any luck it may be a one of incident. In which case you should get your money back.
I did see a lot of posts about them, claiming they had very poor support facilities.
Whats the current status of your web site? Is it off their servers and with another provider?

Are you sure you gave them your proper, valid email address when you signed up?
Perhaps they did send the email but you deleted it accidentally. They should be able to send it again.
BTW, was this a new domain or a transfer? If it was a transfer sometimes your former registrar will contact you to confirm the transfer (NSI often does this). If you don't follow the confirmation instructions exactly the domain won't be moved.

While not being a big fan of chargebacks, it sounds like a real choice here. You're paying for a service that they don't seem to be providing. You might also consider dropping them an e-mail again mentioning this thread. With the weight of traffic that comes through webhostdir word spreads pretty fast about poor hosts.
