Hi,
I have been using hostdepartment premium hosting for almost 2 yrs.
Until the past few months, their services were getting bad
I dont know if any other users of hostdepartment encountered such problems ?
Firstly, their livechat service (1 of the main reasons why i signed up with them) is getting too slow to get a response from. Seems like they dont have enough staff to handle increasing number of queries from the members.
My website hosted there was either down a few times or takes unusually long to load these past few months.
I tried to do a livechat with hostdept, but takes too long to get a reply.
So, i submit my ticket issue to them, and it has been since a week and i got totally NO response from them !!!
I am really considering changing my hosting even tot it means all the trouble of transfering

Response time getting slower is pretty common thing to a company which is growing larger and shortage of customer support staff or a company which is going out of business.
I hope you can at least get a response from the cust support to know what is up. At this time, it's best to make a backup of your web files and databases, just in case if you need to change provider.

Well a week waiting on a trouble ticket to be answered is un-acceptable.
You might check over at webhostingtalk.com for any recent postings.
My advice would be to start checking out some new hosts.

Well I use hostdepartment.com and their service is just awsome not to mention the unlimited storage and bandwidth I have not used the trouble ticket but generally my wait time with live chat is 2 minutes or less which is pretty good. If your site is loading slower maybe its something you are doing like excessive scripts, large image files, or just really large pages in general.

Finally !! I managed to get a response fr Hostdep that they migrated our hosting to a new server.
But prob doesnt stop there !!
My site keeps going down and the staff keeps telling me they r tuning & configuring the new server....which i think is plain excuses
Yes, its time to back-up my files and start looking for better hoster.
