I agree that if you used a credit card to purchase it (like most people do) contact them right away and explain the situation. Contact the company itself and try to straighten it out as well. If all else fails contact a Business Bureau that reports on good and bad business practices.

yes, cut off the credit card payment if you can ... if you were/are in the states, there is the Better Business Bureau which specifically handles this kind of thing. if not, then find something equivalent - basically an institution (governmental or otherwise) that specifically deals with issues of business fraud. the BBB works.
