I have seen some billing softwares people use for hosting. I have tried many of the so far, from the free phpcoin.com to the one i currently use www.lpanel.net

This has proeoved to be the best tool I ever used. With the latest release v.1.683 they added dedicated server release, not to mention the splendind SSL certificates, website templates, branded flash tutorials and lpanel.net reseller options you have included.

We have used both Lpanel and Modernbill.

Lpanel deffinitely has a much nicer, and easier to navigate interface. However, modernbill's signup process is really amazing.

I think if ModernBill and Lpanel merged what they have so far they would create the best billing software ever.

Here is our opinion of the following four billing solutions.

lpanel - The easiest to use, flexible and customizable, but support can sometimes be slow, bugs are not uncommon. Documentation is incomplete. Includes live chat.

whm ap - excellent support, but product is not very customizable. Easy to use, stable and good documentation.

modernbill - The most flexibility for customization but is complex to setup and use. Documentation is good and support is excellent. Allows you to use one billing software to auto signup on Windows and Unix servers.

awbs - We have not used this program and do not resell it but it looks good from our research. It requires you to build your site around existing templates unless you will be doing custom programming. It has inexpensive add-on modules that seem to work well. Allows you to use one billing software program to auto-signup on Windows and Unix servers.

Have you looked into HSphere? They provide pretty much a whole solution though, not just a billing solution.

I like modernbill. Athough, it is somewhat difficult to configure..but is far best tool.

I am using RZ of http://nfec.de after getting the script modified upto my requirements.

I like modernbill though I am looking into finding one which is a little bit more featured.

For moderately sized web hosts, AWBS will work well. We've used for over a year, and are very happy with it. It has all the features a web host needs.

Another vote here for modernbill, it takes a while to get used to it but after that you are good, used it for about 2 years.

I think Modernbill has monopoly over some advanced features that make it unique billing software.
