We are looking to send out about 15000+ emails every three months to clients. What service do you think we can use.... We do not want to sign up with a company and get our account shut down for that reason.... the two providers we use did not accept it as it would be too much load. We are not looking to host a web server, we are just looking to send emails out.
Thanks,
J

Besides using lots of CPU resources, sending 15000 + emails is considered as a spam activity. I know for sure, you can't get a shared hosting for that. Even VPS, you may want to double check with the provider first and read the TOS. Remember, VPS is also sharing CPUs and memory space. If you are abusing them, you may get banned from the service.
If you want to have uninterrupted service, you need to own a dedicated server. By doing that, you can do whatever you want without affecting/interrupting CPU performances on other servers. You pay for your own machine.
Just my two cents

I agree. Most providers often lease their machines but again you are still under their terms of service. Have you checked on professional email list services? You might try a search on google.com and see what comes up. Ive heard good things about constantcontact.com but dont have specifics on their services.

sending 15,000 every two months or so it easy. i use an email marketing tool.obviously i dont send 15,000,but u can have add on packs.U should go to
www.hostmywebsitenow.com
Click on "marketing tools" then 'express email marketing' and there's a 25,000 email plan for $70 plan which i guess would allow about 2000 emails per month, so if u need 15,000 a month u can just purchase additional packs,so basically it's unlimited if ur willing to pay for it.
hope this helps u out dude
If you are sending 15000 emails over a period of 3 months you may not have that big of a problem with a shared or VPS host.
However, if on a single day you are sending out 15000 emails that will create a very high server load and is also considered spam by most hosts. If that is the case then a dedicated server has got to be your best option.
cpsitesaver.com
It is highly suggested that you really get a dedicated server in this case. Look for server close out / sale deals. If this is just one site, then you can probably get a celeron box to work for you.

Dedicated server is the way to go for you dude as its not possible as far as my knowledge that any company allows sending these many emails at a time. Anyways it might be possible that it will work with a VPS. But not sure bout it
www.eukhost.com
Well, you can send huge amount of mails through a vps but doing that can be considered spamming.

get emaillabs .. to do the job. never have issue with spamming anymore.
else, setup your own email server, and do the emailing from home/office.

15k is not a huge number. But on most servers, you may have to prove that these people have opted in to your newsletter and they are given options to optout, in the mail itself. In that case, its pretty easy.
If this is a list collected/purchased from a third party, you may have to outsource it. Or you may even get a small hosting package on coutries where spamming is not illegal(like china).
Actually, you can download some standalone application and send it out from your PC itself. A normal DSL connection will be more than enough. Better split it into few hundred emails per day, so that your IP is not blacklisted.
