I think that maybe we are getting thousands and thousands of visitors butnot that many signups is because we are so cheap, maybe they think its a scam or something? what do you think?

I heard a rumor of being to cheap may hesitate customers. It may be true for a new company which has not gained much reputations.

If company has great service, supports, low prices and well known, it will pick up fast in the market.

My two cents =)

Being cheap is not the issue, but "looking cheap" could be
You are probably right that, people will be concerned about the reliability of cheap hosts. And your site, peobably doesnt help to take away that feeling. I would suggest a redesign of your site with:

1. Professional layout and fonts. There is too much empty space on your site, also the font are too big and sometimes doesnt have a style at all. Overall it looks ameatuer.
2. Well writeen content.
3. A support link at home page, with online/offline text.
4. Testimonials, with real links to sites hosted on your server.
5. May be, you can get rid of that free hosting on homepage. Free hosting is never supposed to be reliable.
6. More technical details, uptime guarantee, money back guarantee and other things that would make the customer feel that you are serious.
Also you dont have to mention that your company was started just two months back.

I guess it may not be a bad idea to get a template monster template. It may not be highly original, but will look a lot more professional.

On the other side, if you can convert around 2%-4% of visitors, you may consider it as a good rate.

your site http://aquahosting.co.uk/ really needs a re-made, you should make it easy for your visitors to order, not go on a journey to find the order link!

Well, it depends on your target market. If you want to host attorney offices, doctors, medium-size and large companies, you probably don't want to offer hosting under $10/month, or they may start becoming reluctant

For the average joe who's got a blog, then obviously a $2/month plan is great
