Well, our host demands a payment of $490 for the dedicated server of http://www.Findtutorials.com which has been serving people with thousands of tutorials for a few years now, - don't offer your own servers because it will take another month only to make the move.. so, I know it's a bit pathetic but unless we'll get those $490 to pay for hosting and I mean like, real soon, we'll have to shut down the site

This site is educational and didn't meant to get me any profit to begin with, and it helped many people, so I am hoping for a contribution

That sucks! Aren't you making enough from advertising?

this is a non profit site, I'm not suppose to make any money from advertising, but it has 300,000 uniques per month... and I have to pay for hosting...

But do you really need a dedicated server at a cost of $490 per month for the site? Surely you could go with a cheaper option. WIth 2 days to go you could easily move it off.

The problem is that it is on Windows 2000 and SQL 2000

OK, the best suggestion I have is to barter for a server with a host. You could offset it with ads on Findsp.
