Hello,
I would like to share our(
www.charazay.com) experience with sagonet/allmanaged(
www.sagonet.com/www.allmanaged.com), and would recommend everyone not look at that provider.
Our relations started around 1 year ago, when we switched to better server, from other company to allmanaged. It was going quite well for few months, when suddenly server started working very slow. After a week of such experience we decided to get ourselves better server again. They offered us take a high-class server from sagonet(allmanaged is part of sagonet). We managed to get ~$40 montly charge discount, because of past server bad working. All continued normally for few more months. Then boom, after they were doing some maintenance work, we found our MySQL database half destroyed. Few days we were constantly contacting with their techsupport to help us recreate the database(funnily, backups were ruined too), but they don't seem to be any profesionals. Had to search for information how to repair the database(most tables were on InnoDB), with huge data losses, we managed to get the site back up in almost a month. Those problems costed us over $1000 already, 50% users loss and practically total loss of income(we still feel that). As we had no money in account after that, we couldn't switch to another provider very soon, so had to wait for better times.. They came.. We asked techsupport to fix an issue(database disk partition got full, so now more data could be written). They started fixing the problem, messaged us they will need to repartition the disk, it could take a day. Well a
day is not so long, OK. We wait... A
week after.. the server was ready to function(still not very properly). Naah, we thought, no more. We decided to wait no more and switch provider to Servstra(
www.servstra.com), as tech support of sagonet didn't seem to be any good, I could have made the server ready in 2-4 days myself, with no experience of doing such things before, while they took a week. The most funny thing is, the new provider made exactly same mistake - too small db partition - when installed the server, but they managed to fix it in two hours under same conditions, as well as many other tiny problems. All these problems with sagonet still makes us very low on income and have to pay for server from own pocket yet. We decided to ask sagonet refund. My partner contacted them 3 times and it all ended up in no response(ignore probably), then I contacted in an angry approach, they messaged it was redirected to billing departament. Waited almost a week and then wrote again wishing them good luck with future business.
I advice you not have any business with such people.
Learn from other's mistakes!
Good Luck
