I just got info about http://www.cgiserver.com do provide xml hosting, but unfortunately they shutdown the signup option. So i try looking for other free hosting providers.

Could anyone help me ?

I would appreciated for any of your info or reply.
Martie
Hi tm,
For free providers I always recommend http://www.freewebspace.net
They have the largest database that I know of for "free providers"
You will find listings, along with reviews on certain ones.
Good Luck!

Thanks Martie,

Ive just been there. You couldnt search for xml features in the hosting list. However I look out all the hosting list again and didnt find it.

Perhaps, any other info that I can look for ?
Jaiem
Haven't seen any free xml hosts but if I find one I'll post it.
tm
Thanks Jaiem,

sigh..OK,

Perhaps... I will consider a paid hosting, but of course at the minimum rate. But where is it ?
Mr Chunder
I don't know any directly but I had a quick search and found beachcomp.com at $5/month. This is pretty cheap and since you're probably better off with paid hosting with something new like XML to get some reasonable support.
tm
Thanks Mr. Chunder,

BTW. Ive got an info that isavvix.com are giving free xml hosting with a max. of 10 Megs ( is quite enough for me).

However I still waiting for beachcomp.com reply on their xml environment setting.

Thank you.

I use a company called weberie.com for my web host. They are using the absolute latest xml p****r from Microsoft, on a Win2K platform. I love it! They're always up, its extremely fast, and their tech support were able to answer ALL of my XML questions. Word has it, most of their site is using XML...but that's only rumor. It's worth a check.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for.

hmmm...it looks like "p a r s e r" is a bad word for some reason...I guess the profanity filter has bugs...hehe
tm
Thanks Brant,

Ive look their hosting plans, but they didnt mentioned anything about xml p a r s e r !. Perhaps it is installed by request.

Well about the Microsoft xml technology, I'm not so familiar. I used the Cocoon APACHE XML and some Perl XML-XSLT MOD in my PC. As far as I know that microsoft XML structures is a little different ( DOM ).

What Im looking is for xml-xslt p a r s e r, so I dont have to p a r s e the xml document into html.

Anyone know where I can Host my Files ?

Thanks
brant
Hey, I emailed weberie about your request. Here's the transaction.

They replied back (in about 10 minutes) with this.

Hi Brant,

Yes, our XML p****r is available with ALL accounts. We are currently
using the Microsoft XML P****r 3.0, Service Pack 1. This is the most
current final release (released April 4, 2001). Microsoft has announced
a technology preview of their XML P****r version 4.0, however, we will
only install pre-release software on your server per customer request.

As always, if there is a component that you need that we don't support,
we would be glad to install it for you. Just tell us where to get it, (or
send it to us), and we'll get right to work.

The reason our list of plans doesn't mention XML support, is because we
are currently developing an entire portion of our site devoted to XML,
and its uses. We're holding out on announcing XML support in our
product line until this is finished. This should be online in a couple
of weeks, so look forward to it. We plan on having complete tutorials,
sample code, and information about XML. As you may know, most of our
site is generated from XML and XSLT, so if you have ANY questions about
how to use it, please don't hesitate to ask us! We'd love to help.

If you want to know more about the XML p****r we're using, you can find
out all you'd need to know at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/xml/default.asp

I hope this helps you out. Have a splendid day.
