Hv purchased domain with one vendor and hosting space with other....
Now i need to make few changes in the so as to configure my hosting space..

I have the control panel provided by the domain registration company...could sm1 tell me..what do i have to change out of the two.."Name server" or "A record"...and y...

Lets say your hosting company is superduperhosting.com and their name servers are ns1.superduperhosting.com and ns2.superduperhosting.com. Than, in your domain control panel, you should replace the name servers with the ones mentionned earlier.

When you switch hosts, you will have to modify your name servers to correspond to the new company.

Upon signing up with hosting account, you should have received a welcome email concerning your account information including DNS infos. Then, you need to go to your domain control panel and replace the default nameservers to the ones your hosting company provide you.

Please allow 0-48 hours until your domain propagates.
