I have never heard of them before. For what purpose do you need free hosting? I'm asking cause I don't think a website like freewebs.com/something is very appealing!

Hi my name is LightWolf, and i am a premium member of freewebs.com.
Let me start by saying this to you. RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN...
That provider is just a basic provider with little to no options. It is always going down, my pages always messed up and needed repaired, lost all my pics in their album, they say they didnt do it, and now i have to use firefox browser because IE doesn't work anymore when working with your managers. For what i pay each year, i am being ripped off. I have NO mysql, php, asp, data base of anykind, cant use alot of files, small file size allowed, small storage (200 mb for premium user!!!),ect..... i have been with them almost a year and am now leaving their services. I beg you to please look around, you can do way so much more then that has been site. What is sad is they seem to be new at this, and still offer nothing for their clients but headaches!!!

I am also looking for a FREE host for now (upgrade to paying later) if one can help me, send email through LightWolfs Psychic Den and i will send info on what i need.

Here is my site if you would like to take a look. I created my own templates, because..well theirs are really ugly!!

To some extent you get what you pay for, but there are free hosts who provide a reasonable service, assuming you don't expect the world. I have a simple site with the ez1web.com guys that has been up for a long time and has been very stable. They don't provide significant support (only email support with free sites) but for non-robust sites it works pretty well.

If you expect your site to get any real traffic or you depend on reliability, then it seems rather foolish not to use a paid plan (I have several with the ez1web.com guys as well as Ipowerweb)--after all, you can get a paid host for less than most of us spend on beer for one night.
