I'm so sick of the crap CIHost has put me through, along with thousands of other people, this just has to be done.

It is pertinent that consumers scammed by CIHost get their voices heard. The web site below is a joint effort of several of those effected greatly by this company's scam.

All complaints filled through this site will be sent to the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC and the State of Texas Attorney General's office in Austin, Texas.

If you've been affected in any way by this host, we want to know about it and so do the feds. By combining our forces, we can get CIHost shut down so they can't harm anymore people.

From the site:
"Because C I Host Scams is a brand new web site we've received no threats from C I Host... yet. I'm sure as soon as they see this web site they'll start rolling out the threats. Just wait, you'll see."

*lmao* well at least you're going into it with your eyes open. If it stays up it should make for some interesting reading.

Well we've had another victim contat us. By the sounds of it CI Host are really damaging some business out there.

I've pointed the person to your new website.

I guess I'm a victim, too.

They deleted my site and have no backups. The loss is in the $10,000's.

Can we do anything about it?

You have my sympathies, though as we've discussed here before, ultimately the responsibility is on you the customer to keep your own backups of your site and any data files or databases.

Unfortunately experience is often an expensive lesson.
