Hi im new, i registered a domain name last year, www.diamonddealz.co.uk with www.freeparking.co.uk and am currently building a website with dreamweaver to start up a small jewellery business question is this IS IT WORTH THE HASSLE?

i currently have a toned down version of the site without any products bar 1 at www.diamonddealz.bravehost.com , part of bravenet but it looks crap and im sure i get hosting from these guys too, so is it worth me staying with bravenet or carry on building website and then find my own host?

My suggestion would be go for a paid host. I think bravenet is fine if you are strictly looking for free hosting BUT with a paid host I think you would be much happier in the long run. One thing is you will not have to tolerate any advertising of banners or popups on your site. This alone would be reason enough, especially if you are running a business site. Most paid hosts now offer some sort of website builders if you need assistance in that area too.
Good Luck, and just research any potential host THOROUGHLY!!

I agree with Martie. I would say If you care so much for your e-commerce site, you may want to avoid supported ads and subdomain name from the free hosting. It definitely will make your site look more professional and elegant.

Don't rush, look and shop around for a paid hosting that really fits your need now.

Just my two cents

Good Luck

Bravenet offers lots of great services. However, I think you may paint yourself into a corner if you develop too much around their services. My buddy used Bravenet's forum software and when he decided to move to a different host he couldn't move the forum.
