Stevie Award Supports Rackspace Vision to be Recognized as one of the World’s Great Service Companies

Rackspace Managed Hosting today announced it was named Best Customer Service Organization by the American Business Awards in its 2005 ceremony on June 6. Known as the “Stevie Awards,” the event is hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (April 27, 2005). The American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace.

As the Best Customer Service Organization, Rackspace stood out against 18 other blue chip finalists nominated for the category and shared the top honor with Wyndham International, Inc. The American Business Awards describes excellent customer service as an unparalleled level of support for its clients and 100 percent responsiveness to customer needs and emergencies. Rackspace was selected for delivering on its Fanatical Support™ philosophy and going above and beyond to exceed every customer’s expectation.

Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in February through April.
