I have hosted a very bandwidth-intensive personal web page through the services of the GISOL company. Recently I got a phone call from a service rep asking me why I had just opened a new account with them with the same domain name as an account that I already had with them. I explained to them that I had to open another account to host my site becuase I had gone way over the bandwidth limits of the original hosting account and the back-up hosting account, and could not afford to pay the $418 that I owed in bandwidth charges ($3.50/gigabyte over your account's maximum) and my site simply had to be up.

The service rep treated me so well in this case that I thought he had some religious motivation behind his taking care of me so well, but at the end of our 25 minute phone conference he simply said "GISOL cares about your business." I can't state the exact solution he provided for my situation, as he asked me to keep it confidential, but suffice it to say I am no longer recieving any financial stress from GISOL any more, and I am not having any bandwidth issues anymore either!

I don't even feel worthy of the service they have given me for such a small amount of money as I have given them. Fast and efficient ticket system that I have just about broken with sometimes emotionally-charged questions and accusations.

I am a 20 year old going to school with no job, and I can afford to run a site whose bandwidth consumption per visitor rivals anyone damn reliably, all thanks to GISOL.

Glad that you have that solved! I was very surprised about your extra charges for over bandwidth. Phew...that's a lot of money!!!!

I've Been Hosted With Gisol For Couple Of Weeks. My Conclusion: uptime Very Bad, Less Than 80% - customer Service Poor - And Money Back, Dont Count On It. do A Search On Google, With "+gisol +review" And Unveal The Thruth About This Hosting Company. Conclusion: stay Away From Gisol.com.
