Hello,
I have find an interesting hosting, but I want know if it is well known.

Could you say me if hosteasier.com is a serious or a fraudulent company?

I am surprised by the address.
On the web site they give this address:
HostEasier Inc.
538 Glendale Rd
Glenview IL 60025

But if I search them on "whois", I have another address
PMB 368, 14150 NE 20th St - F1
C/O hosteasier.com
Bellevue, WA 98007
US

Thanks

I have some information about hosteasier.
I was on the chat support of their website, what do you think of this?

Phil: Hello
Newbie: There is 2 day that the forum doesn't work
Newbie: hello
Newbie: There is a problem with the forum?
Phil: Forum temporary down
Newbie: For how many time?
Phil: I don't know. Please submit ticket to support@hosteasier.com
Newbie: Ok, can you give me some informations about the company?
Newbie: What is your postal address and the creation date of the company?
Phil: All info here http://hosteasier.com/support.html
Newbie: Then, why in the whois base, the address is different?
Phil: Creation date is 2004
Phil: We have moved to another location
Newbie: begining 2004 or end of 2004?
Phil: I think May-June 2004
Newbie: The president is Alex S.?
Phil: No, Alex B.
Newbie: Ok, thanks

I am not sure that the company is serious, if someone is hosting by hosteasier, please send me a feedback.

For information, I hesitate between site5 or hosteasier hosting, hosteasier seems to be more interesting, but not really serious.

Thanks

I guess its possible the company registered and has two different addresses or moved.

I probably would go with another company if you feel something is wrong.

There are many hosts out there that won't seem that suspicious

best of luck.

Probably, the company has shifted to the next address or has registered from both place, or it may possible that they have moved to other place but not yet rectified the address thereupon.

I have seen so many companies have multiple addresses; it should not be considered a fraudulent company.

On other hand you may also confirm the address by sending email or direct mail to the both address of the particular company, if you have further doubt on this regards.

Hi there,

I think it is a liitle bit hard to judge whether that hosting company is real or fake. The WhoIs Search cannot provide a guarantee that the address is real. It is also possible that the company moved once the domain name is registered. Anything is possible and what I can think of the right way to identify the hosting company is by the support. Any idea?

Web Hosting company you can trust.

When ever I am feeling uneasy about a hosting company, or any
internet company i always hunt down a phone number.
I feel that talking to someone on the phone allows me to judge
their knowlege and additude towards customers a lot better than
email. I've always given out my cell to my clients just to assure them
that they can trust my services. I trust my services with my privacy.
I would try to get a phone number from them.. plus you can always
trace a phone number to a real location.

Good luck.

I already signup last 3 days ago with VPS-1.

The VPS server can handle my dynamic content very great.
I get more visitors +100%. So speed is very great!
I have bad experience with many hosting that can't handle my perl cgi load.

By the way, I check the DNS IP of hosteasier.com,
They are IP from hostforweb.com
I check it out. HostForWeb have the same VPS plan,
same features and same web layout!!!
Both hosting allow adult content too...Great! unrestrict....

I will see the uptime and tell you here again.

Hope this help for another visitors.

I would start with the BBB. Look in your phone book or dial information to get the BBB's number. See if they have any information on the host, and if they don't ask them to send a business information form to their address. If it is returned, the BBB will mark them as "Non-Existant" then you would know for sure.

Also, check their payment methods, if they are through PayPal and if they are verified, call PayPal and ask them for the hosts address.

Also, try finding their phone number, it should be on their whois, if it doesn't work, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
