Anyone else get stuck paying this fine to get delisted? And if so were you actually delisted? Our company has had to pay this fine of $50.00 US to get an IP delisted which was caused by an insecure client mail script, which we happened to catch as soon as the mailing started and we stopped it and suspended the client. We did get one spam complaint a day later but had the problem resolved almost as soon as it started. A month later my boss tells me that server is listed in SORBS and to quickly pay the "extortion fee" as he calls it and ask to get this IP delisted. I have paid it today but haven't heard anything back from SORBS yet. My searches through the Internet have found things which suggest that they are 4-6 weeks behind in answering email. Does this mean it will take up to 6 weeks to get delisted?
