I was wondering if anyone has found an easer to use control
panel than Cpanel or is Cpanel XP much easer.

I don't mind learning to use it, but I would like to find
an easer one if possible.

I spent hour's trying to figure out why file mgr. woudn't
work and it was because my java wasn't up to date.

He's got a custom one similar to Cpanel.

my site still isn't showing up.

I changed the dns numbers correctly, and checked the WHOIS
and everything is correct.

I need to host multible sites & build an email customer list
for each one that is the simplest way possible.

Any reccomdations.

What Control Panel are you referring to? We provide Cpanel and to my knowledge, JAVA is not required to use anything within it.

As to your DNS problem, providing the URL would make it easier to help or check out http://dnsreport.com/ for details on any problems. Any you do find can be reported to your Hoster who should be able to fix them.

Using RV Skins with CPanel is popular, but it is only an interface and does not really affect the inner workings of CPanel.

Gary,

I prefer C-panel. It is the best and user friendly control panel in my opinion better than plesk and ensim.

The propagation for your DNS could take up to 48 hours. Anything more than that you need to contact your web hosting provider. I assume they are having a problem on their DNS server.

Just my two cents

Gary,

I tend to lean towards Plesk, but alot of people do swear by CPanel. Plesk was the first control panel I used and I have stuck with it ever since.

I have to agree with gary either Plesk or some other control panel is much better than cPanel. Blue Light Hosting used to use cPanel and it just ended up becoming a pain for our customers and use due to the lack of features.

Try H-Sphere are plans use this control panel. we chose H-Sphere from all of the control panels currently on the market. The reason is it is the most advanced and powerful system overall. H-Sphere is the only control panel that provides integrated account sign-up and billing modules, along with an incredibly easy (yet powerful) graphical interface for end-users. It also provides dual platform capability for both Unix/Linux and Windows from the same interface. We've used them all, including CPANEL, Alabanza, Ensim, Sphera, Plesk, etc. H-Sphere is the best and the only one with true automation features.

We will even help you move your site over and any help that you need with the control panel we can help you.

We will help you in getting familiar with the control panel. Plus it's more user friendly than Cpanel

Gary, if you have any chance - move to HSphere hosting. It is pretty easy. I have been using it for 3 years. Manufacturer is Positive Software Corporation www.psoft.net

Hope this helps.

I "swear by CPanel"!

cPanel is easy to use, feature packed, and becomming pretty popular.
