i find host gators service under standard they have outsourced staff who talk there way around your problems not solve them, and i had a personal account with them which they offer a 30 money back i requested my money along time ago and still waiting

I bought a reseller account at HG to test the waters because I was thinking of moving my dedicated servers to them. I won't be doing that, but not because of poor support.
Their chat support is horrendous and most of the time the people can't even type english well. It is meant for 'easy' questions, but HG doesn't say that anywhere, (except in their forums), so I had one frustrating experience.
However, their e-mail support is excellent! Quick, accurate and helpful.
We will be closing our reseller account with them since we won't be moving our servers over. But the BIG caveat I have about HG is that they claim RAID is "instantaneous backup". Well...yeah...it is, but that means if a problem occurs on your live site, that problem is IMMEDIATELY transferred over to the alleged backup on the RAID drive. Lot of good that does ANYONE. I have heard of folks who have been unable to get files lost a day or two earlier reinstalled, so I am thinking HG might not be doing REAL backups.
